Gout Immune system

All inflammatory response is regulated by the body's immune system.  There is evidence to suggest that the innate immune system is responsible for the inflammatory response to Monsodium Urate Crystals in Gout. Remedies that help balance and modulate this response by the immune system are important therapies for the treatment of Gout.

Micro-immunotherapy

Patient QI found no published clinical trials that specifically relate to Gout.  However, there are studies of immune system treatments for reducing the inflammatory processes in other forms of arthritis. The 2LINFLAM formula targets inflammatory processes through use of cytokines, cytokine receptors and other immune regulating substances.  The 2LARTH formula has a long history as a treatment for arthritis and numerous case studies can be found on the AEMI website (information in Spanish)  http://www.3idi.org/Esp/pub/accueil/index.php

Physiological Regulating Medicine

Patient QI found no clinical studies on the use of physiological regulating medicine in the treatment of Gout, however the complex formula HandFoot is indicated for Gout and other forms of arthritis.

The Gout immune system page will be updated as new evidence becomes available.
